What is a farrier app?
A farrier app is software built for horseshoeing work: routes and stops, per-horse service history, barn-floor invoicing, mileage, and accounts receivable — with the visit, horse, and payment linked so you are not re-typing the same client across a calendar, spreadsheet, and generic invoice tool. Is Hoofy a farrier app?
Yes. Hoofy is a native iPhone farrier app for scheduling routes, invoicing at the hitch, logging business mileage, horse history and safety notes, and A/R aging. Get it on the App Store or read more on the home page.
Is Hoofy only for huge practices?
No. Solo shoers use Hoofy to punch above their weight; teams use it to stay aligned. Same app — you grow into it.
What’s the catch on price?
$12.99/month after the 7-day free trial (see the App Store for current pricing). Less than most trims — and if Hoofy helps you collect one forgotten invoice, the math gets easy.
Where does my data live?
Your business data is stored on your device. We don’t run our own servers for your client and horse records. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I prove income to my accountant?
Yes. Export clients, services, and invoices to CSV when you need clean data for your CPA.
How do I cancel?
Manage your subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or through the App’s subscription options. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Who do I contact for support?

Does Hoofy work on Android or desktop?
iPhone first. Hoofy is a native iOS app. Check the App Store for current requirements — don’t expect Android or desktop builds unless we announce them.
Can I schedule two visits for the same horse on the same day?
No — one appointment per horse per calendar day. Remove or move the existing booking first so your schedule matches your truck (and your invoices stay honest).
Is Hoofy good for solo farriers or teams?
Both. Solos love the speed at the hitch; teams still get shared clarity on records and exports. Your mileage may vary with how many trucks you run.
Can I export data for my accountant?
Yes. CSV exports for clients, services, and invoices — add mileage notes for a cleaner year-end packet.
Does Hoofy sell my client list?
No. Your business data stays on your device. Third parties may still apply for subscriptions or analytics — see the Privacy Policy.
What is included in the free trial?
Everything for seven days so you can run a real route. After that, standard App Store subscription rules apply.
