Hoofy — Farrier business management

Hoofy (“we”, “us”) is a farrier business management app. This policy describes how information is handled when you use Hoofy.
Data stored on your device
Hoofy stores your business data locally on your device (clients, horses, appointments, invoices, mileage, settings, and similar). We do not operate our own servers to store this information for you, and we do not receive copies of your client or horse records.
Contacts
If you choose to import from Contacts, Hoofy reads only what you authorize on-device to help you add client details. That data stays in the app on your device unless you export or share it yourself.
Camera and Photos
If you add photos, Hoofy uses the camera or photo library only as you allow, for your own records.
Location
If you allow location access, Hoofy may use your location on-device for routing and address features as described in the app. Hoofy does not sell your location.
Weather (Open-Meteo)
To show schedule weather, Hoofy may send approximate latitude and longitude (derived from geocoding your home or business address you enter) to the Open-Meteo weather service (open-meteo.com) over an encrypted connection. Only what is needed for a weather forecast is sent; it is not used for advertising. See Open-Meteo’s site for their policies.
Payments and subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase. We do not receive your full payment card number. Apple may provide us subscription status as needed to unlock features.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Apple’s notification service may process minimal data needed to deliver them.
Backups and exports
If you use backup or share features, data is sent only where you choose (e.g. Mail, Files, iCloud Drive), not to Hoofy’s servers.
Children’s privacy
Hoofy is not directed at children under 13. Do not use Hoofy to collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
