The farrier behind Hoofy
Built by Chase Paris.
Built for farriers.
Chase Paris is a second-generation farrier with 10 years of experience as of September 2026. He created Hoofy to bring the business side of farriery—clients, horses, appointments, invoices, and mileage—into one iPhone app.
What we believe
- Local-first records. Business records are stored on your device. Weather, downloads, purchases, and anything you choose to send or share may need a connection. See the privacy policy.
- Practical workflows. Keep the horse’s history connected to the client, appointment, and invoice instead of rebuilding the context at each visit.
- Clear expectations. Hoofy is an iPhone and iPad app, not a desktop accounting service or a substitute for professional hoof-care judgment. Current subscription terms are shown in the app and on the App Store.
About our guides
Our farrier business guides explain recordkeeping and day-to-day workflows, with examples labeled as examples. They are published by Hoofy, the maker of the app discussed on this website. Product comparisons therefore come from a vendor, not an independent testing laboratory.
We distinguish app features from general business suggestions and link to primary sources when discussing outside rules or services. Hoof-care education is general information, not a diagnosis or a claim of veterinary review. Tax and insurance decisions need advice specific to your circumstances.
Found an error or want to suggest a workflow? Contact Chase and the Hoofy team. We welcome corrections and do not publish invented customer reviews.
