Is the Hoofy farrier directory free to search?
Yes. Searching and filtering is free in your browser. Hoofy publishes the list as a courtesy; we do not charge owners to look up a horseshoer or trimmer.
How do I find a horseshoer or trimmer near me?
Type a name fragment, town, ZIP code, phone digits, or email into the search field, then optionally pick a U.S. state from the dropdown. Results update as you type. Use column headers on desktop to sort.
Can farriers add or update a listing?
Yes — use Add yourself below. You’ll see a preview on this device right away; our team merges approved rows into the public data/Farriers.csv file when we process your email.
Does Hoofy verify licenses, CJF/AFA credentials, or insurance?
No. Treat every row as unverified public information. Do your own diligence before hiring.
Can I share a link to a search?
Yes. URLs like https://hoofyapp.com/find-a-farrier.html?q=your+terms pre-fill the search box. Add &state=TX (two-letter USPS code) to pre-select a state filter.
